Ebay: �no longer a registered user� how does this happen?
I got a beefiness with a seller who now is �no longer a registered user.� The guy got a coupla negs that screwed up his percentage, and I effigy he got a new ID.
Just, for his erstwhile ID, how does ane get �unregistered.� And is there any way to track downwards this turkey and hound him till hell freezes over?

More than than likely aye (due to the negatives you refer to). If you become 3 not pays you lot are suspended. Also if there is any suspicion of fraud.

Not a Registered User
A user's status may be indicated as Non a Registered User for several reasons:
If a user requests to be unregistered from eBay.
If a user is suspended from using eBay. While suspensions are rare, eBay reserves the right to append users at our discretion. In most cases, we do so as a result of an eBay site rule violation or violation of the User Agreement. If you have any question about eBay's terms and atmospheric condition, see our User Agreement or review policies of our SafeHarbor Team.
If y'all run into the words, �Non a Registered User� next to an eBay member�due south User ID, this means that this person unregistered from eBay afterwards the list closed. Because merely registered eBay members can participate on eBay, you are not obligated to buy or sell from this person.
When a user's status is changed to Not a Registered User, all feedback left by this user remains unaltered. Prior to 1999 notwithstanding, equally noted in some profiles, feedback was converted to neutral when a user became no longer registered.

Well, he got his negs as a seller. A third neg was withdrawn (I found out from the buyer that they worked out a deal to supervene upon crappy bootlegs with less crappy ones.)
I�m going with the fantasy that someone dropped a dime on him for selling boots and they banned him. I tin can become a warm and fuzzy feeling over that.
Of course, having friends at work dummy upwards accounts and bid on his auctions <s>was</s> would have been fun, too.

Another way to be unregistered is if you never pay your eBay bills. Then there's a possibility that they were caught fucking an eBay exec'due south kid.

especially if y'all dont plan to buy once again and are worried about your business relationship getting hacked

Yep, he can "unregister" himself, alright.
However, I prefer the "F" discussion in this case.
